By accessing or using Kompress Media (kompressmedia.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Description of Service

Kompress Media provides an online platform for compressing and editing media files, including video, audio, and images. The Service is offered under the following subscription plans:

• Free — 3 files/month, limited file sizes, 1-day storage
• Starter — 20 files/month, larger file sizes, 7-day storage
• Pro — Unlimited files, maximum file sizes, 30-day storage

Feature availability and file size limits vary by plan. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of any files you upload to Kompress Media. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and deliver your files solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload
• Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Your content does not contain malware, illegal material, or content that violates applicable laws

We do not claim ownership of your content. Uploaded files are automatically deleted according to your plan's storage duration (1, 7, or 30 days).

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, transmit, or distribute illegal content
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to abuse the Service (scraping, bots, excessive API calls)
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service without authorization
• Upload content containing viruses, malware, or harmful code

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions (Starter and Pro) are billed monthly or annually. All prices are in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes where required.

Payments are processed securely via Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your payment card details.

Subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

7. Intellectual Property

All aspects of the Kompress Media platform — including its design, code, trademarks, and brand elements — are the property of KnK Sense and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KnK Sense shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Wrocław, Poland.
